Meet the Firm’s Principal
Ian Hamilton is the Advisor's founder and principal, overseeing all operations since March 20, 2024. With over 20 years of trading experience, he has built and managed multiple desks, transitioned from CBOE floor trading to electronic platforms like CBOT and CME, and played a key role in Energy Risk Magazine’s 2009 Deal of the Year. He co-founded a structured commodity products group that returned over $70 million to stakeholders and has guest-lectured on risk management at Rice University. Mr. Hamilton holds an MSc from the University of Chicago and a BSc from Menlo College.
